1978-84 Studium an der Kunstakademie Münster
Lebt und arbeitet in Münster und New York
Bahram Hajous Weg zur Malerei war kurvenreich. Er wurde 1952 in Deruna in Nord- Syrien geboren. In den 70er-Jahren ging Bahram Hajou in den Irak, um ab 1972 in Nauperdan und Sulemanie Bauingenieurwesen zu studieren. Schon ein Jahr später wechselte er nach Bagdad, um dort Kunst zu studieren. Wegen des Krieges flüchtete er 1974 von dort über Prag nach Berlin.
Ab 1976 studierte er in Münster zuerst an der Universität Münster Archäologie, wechselte dann aber an die Pädagogische Hochschule, um ab 1977 Sport und Kunst zu studieren. Im Jahr 1983 beendete er sein Studium an der Pädagogischen Hochschule und machte seinen Abschluss. Nach einem kurzen Intermezzo an der Gelsenkirchener Gesamtschule in Ückendorf widmete er sich ab Anfang der 90er-Jahre ganz der bildenden Kunst.....

1978-84 studies at the Kunstakademie Münster
Bahram Hajou's path to painting was not easy. He was born in Deruna in northern Syria in 1952 . In 1972 Bahram Hajou went to Iraq to study Civil Engineering in Nauperdan and Sulemanie. A year later he moved to Baghdad to study art, but because of the war he fled from there via Prague to Berlin in 1974.
From 1976 he first studied archeology at the University of Münster, then moved to the College of Education to study sports and art from 1977 onwards. He graduated from the College of Education in 1983.
After a short period at the Gelsenkirchen comprehensive school in Ückendorf, he devoted himself to fine art from the beginning of the 90s onwards ...
He lives and works between Münster and New York
